Against the Dying of the Light: Volunteers
We have exclusive use of the Fordell Firs Scout Camp, located about 14 miles from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
Address: Scout Adventures Fordell Firs, Hillend, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 7HQ

Physical Accessibility
Fordell Firs is an accessible Scout Camp with level access to all accommodation buildings.
In addition to the accommodation blocks there are wooden huts, a large activity hall, woodlands, large camping fields, an amphitheatre with log benches, and a bushcraft camp with log seats and rain covering.
The site is a mixture of sloped fields and woodland. There are tarmac footpaths between most accommodation blocks and the car park. The exception is the wooden huts intended for use in-game by the Scavengers- there is a footpath over grass alongside a wooden fence (see photos below).
Please email Clarion.LARP@gmail.com with any questions. Our contact at the site is very helpful and will measure doorways and count steps as requried.

HENDERSON BUILDING: this building will be off-game, with the exception of a room used for 'black-box' scenes.
Ground floor: off-game kitchen and dining room. Wheelchair lift up to first floor.
First floor: off-game bunk rooms assigned to MEDICS, the crew kit room and crew bunk room. Showers and toilets.
See the Henderson Building floor plan here
GARTH MORRISON BUILDING: this building will be in-game, and it is on a single ground floor.
It contains the in-game bunk rooms assigned to RECRUITS, as well as the in-game kitchen and dining room.
This building also contains the in-game Medical Centre.
See the Garth Morrison floor plan here.
WOODEN HUTS: there are four wooden huts, one of which has a ramp to the entrance and the others have 2 steps. These contain the in-game bunks assigned to the SCAVENGERS. The toilets and showers are in a separate building approx 50 metres walk away over grass.
site map
Here is the map of Fordell Firs. It should be noted that there is a nursery school on site that will be in-use on Friday, and so there may be vehicles moving around site. These should be treated as in-game soldiers moving about, best get out of their way!
